summarize on our research

As we have found 2005 to 2008 Fall/Winter collections' information. We find that there have some similar points among these collections. Also the pattern of using color, design of the clothes.

COLOR:
uses sombre colours;
achromatic - black, white, grey;
monochromatic colors - (change the tint/value)
black (in different shade), white to beige, grey;
analogous colors;
similar levels of value & chroma

And she always use the Principle of resemblance. That mean the differences between the colors are less.


INSPIRATION:

The things influenced her daily life and she is looking for something unreliastic, untouchable and spiritual. Finally, let them happen in reliastic. For example, in 2006 present the concept of mixing feminine with the masculine & the operatic drama.


EVENT:


Rei Kawakubo' s every collection's theme have some relationship with the thing happened in that year., e.g. 2005 Memoirs of a Geisha; 2006 The Phantom Of The Opera' s 20th birthday; 2008 AmyWinhouse album” Back to Black “. And the color of collection also affected by these events, Geisha's makeup (white); the opera's costumes; AmyWinhouse's back to black.


Moreover, i found that these events are all related to the culture & arts: music, movie, drama. So, i think the following collection' s will follow this trend.
